Privacy Policy

Short version: your evidence is yours, it stays private, and we never see it.

On your device. Your deposits are stored on your iPhone and work fully offline.

Your private iCloud, end-to-end encrypted. If you're signed into iCloud, your deposits sync through your own private iCloud database, so they're on every device you use. What you write — and your focus-area names — is end-to-end encrypted with keys only your devices hold: neither we nor Apple can read it. (Dates, sequence numbers, focus-area colours and the archived flag sync unencrypted, so your devices can stay in step.) If you lose access to all your devices and your iCloud Keychain, encrypted deposits can't be recovered — exporting a copy now and then is a good habit.

Nothing collected. No accounts on our side, no ads, no trackers, no analytics, and no server of ours. We collect nothing about you, because there's nowhere for it to go.

No AI. Nothing you write is sent to or processed by any AI system.

Sign in with Apple is optional. If you use it, we receive an anonymous identifier from Apple and, if you choose to share it, your name — used only to greet you in Settings › Profile. Both stay on your device: never synced, never sent to us, and removed when you sign out. We never ask for your email.

Face ID and reminders run entirely on your iPhone. Purchases are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.

Your control. Export everything as a Markdown file anytime in Settings › Export your evidence. To delete it all, delete the app and remove Cordo's data in the Settings app › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage.

This website's launch list. This site has no ads, trackers or analytics. If you ask to hear when Cordo is out, we keep the email address you give us, with your consent, and use it only to tell you when Cordo is out. It's stored with Resend (resend.com), the email service we use, which processes it in the United States. It isn't shared with anyone else, and the app never sees it. Unsubscribe with the link in any email, or ask us at info@getcordo.app to see or delete your address. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
